Now? I have to inform you that Mrs Hauley wishes the land purchased by her husband in Houghing to be made over to the Colonial Govt on their own conditions. If therefore it is desirable that the land should be resumed, the earliest terms upon which the resumption is to be effected should be stated, so as to enable the Crown Agents to act for the Hongkong Govt as may be necessary to complete the transaction.
